Black Friday on Instagram: A 4-Week Plan That Actually Sells

Shopping bags next to a sale sign

Black Friday lands on November 27 this year. If you only start posting discounts that day, you're fighting thousands of other accounts for the same attention. The winners warm up their audience weeks ahead.

Week 1: warm-up

Don't sell anything. Post content people enjoy that shows your product in action: behind the scenes, customer reviews, before/after. The goal is to lift reach and engagement so the algorithm pushes your account in November.

Week 2: waitlist

Announce something is coming, but don't say what. "Comment DEAL and I'll send you early access a day before everyone else." Every comment is a signal to the algorithm and a contact for your DMs.

Week 3: countdown

Use Stories with the countdown sticker so people can set a reminder. Tease 2–3 products that will be on sale. Post a Reel with a hook like "This is going half price."

Week 4: launch day

- In the morning, DM the link to your waitlist

- 3–5 Stories during the day (stock left, reviews)

- Evening reminder: "last 6 hours"

- Monday: Cyber Monday for anyone who missed it

Trust decides

New customers buy from accounts that look established. If you're sitting at 300 followers, build the baseline early. kupsledujici.cz does it in minutes. Do it in week 1 so it looks natural by Black Friday.
