Pinned Posts on Instagram: 3 Slots That Actually Sell

Hand holding a phone with the Instagram app open

When someone lands on your profile for the first time, they decide in seconds. Below your bio and Highlights sits your grid, and right at the top are three pinned posts. You pick them, not the algorithm. Yet most profiles leave those slots empty.

What to pin

A combo that works:

1. The intro: a short reel saying who you are and what people get here. Under 20 seconds, and say who it's for in the first second.

2. Your best proof: the post with the most saves or shares. It shows your content actually lands.

3. The offer: a product, a service, a newsletter link. This is where you sell.

How to pick the right post

Open Insights and sort your content by saves, not likes. A save means "I want to see this again", which is exactly the feeling you want a new visitor to have.

How often to swap

The intro can stay for a year. Refresh slot two whenever something blows up. Slot three follows your campaigns: the promo ended, swap it the same day. An outdated price list at the top looks like nobody runs the account.

Send people to the grid

Pinned posts only work if people actually visit. Once your grid is dialed in, you can kickstart reach with KupSledujici: followers, likes and reel views at fair prices.
